Position Summary:

The Senior Project Manager, Anesthesiology (Clinical Integration) will play a critical, time-limited role in supporting the integration of three clinical anesthesia departments across Boston Medical Center, Saint Elizabeth’s Medical Center, and Good Samaritan Medical Center.

Reporting to the Senior Administrative Director of System Anesthesiology, this individual will lead and coordinate key operational and clinical integration initiatives, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and alignment of practices across all sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Integration Projects:
    Oversee the development and implementation of integrated clinical policies, protocols, and practice standards across all three anesthesia departments.
  • Website Management:
    Manage the integration and alignment of departmental websites across the three hospitals, ensuring consistent, accurate, and up-to-date information for providers, trainees, and patients.
  • Faculty Appointment Coordination:
    Facilitate the onboarding and academic appointment process for CRNAs and physician anesthesiologists at Saint Elizabeth’s and Good Samaritan Medical Centers.
  • Clinical Scheduling System Implementation:
    Support the selection, rollout, and training for a unified clinical scheduling system across all sites.
  • Performance Improvement Support:
    Collaborate with departmental and hospital leadership to implement key process improvements around revenue cycle management, financial operations, and clinical performance metrics.
  • Staffing and Hiring Tracking:
    Develop and maintain tools and processes to track anesthesia staffing levels, recruitment status, and new hire onboarding across all hospitals.
  • Executive Reporting and Communication:
    Prepare and deliver presentations, status updates, and strategic recommendations for hospital executive leadership, including hospital presidents and C-suite executives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of healthcare project management experience, preferably in perioperative services or anesthesiology
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-site clinical integration or operational projects
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, dashboards, reporting) and PowerPoint (presentation development and delivery)
  • Experience presenting to hospital executive suites, including presidents and C-level leaders
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and navigate a dynamic healthcare environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with academic medical centers and healthcare operational structures
  • Experience with faculty appointment processes and clinical scheduling systems in a healthcare setting
