We are seeking a tech-savvy Associate Digital Producer. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the creation and delivery of digital content and experiences across multiple websites, including three new website builds as we expand Boston Medical Center Health System (BMCHS) to include two new hospitals and launch a digital presence for the health system. The Associate Digital Producer will act as a liaison between teams, ensuring all projects meet quality standards, timelines, and goals, and serve as a primary point of contact for content updates to the websites. While leading and supporting teams on projects, this role will also work with clients to develop relationships, be a partner, and provide support for ongoing and future projects.

Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, you will be a key member of BMCHS’s digital team within the Marketing and Communications department. The digital team oversees eleven web properties, with a focus on the ongoing enhancement of hospital websites, and collaborates with various departments, programs, and leaders across the organization to drive digital excellence.

The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in web production, a good understanding of digital marketing strategies, and hands-on experience with web development at an agency. The ability to work in a fast-paced and growing environment is essential to this role.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Deliver High-Quality Digital Experiences: Provide exceptional web experiences for patients, employees, and key audiences by ensuring site quality and usability
  • Content Management: Oversee and maintain digital content across web properties, ensuring all information is current, engaging, and fully functional
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and troubleshoot website performance, resolving issues promptly to ensure optimal functionality across all devices and browsers
  • Project Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including timelines, deliverables, process enhancements, and training materials
  • Analytics & Optimization: Use analytics tools to monitor site performance including accessibility and user experience
  • Training & Support: Educate and support web editors on CMS best practices, ensuring effective use and management of web content
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, gather feedback, and make necessary adjustments to meet objectives
  • Request Management: Process daily web content edit requests through the digital team’s ticketing system, ensuring timely and accurate updates
  • Department Collaboration: Work closely with clinical departments, providing guidance on web best practices to enhance digital content
  • Project Prioritization: Collaborate with the project management team to prioritize initiatives, streamline processes, and ensure timely delivery of projects
  • User Experience Enhancement: Partner with the UX team to refine content and user interface elements based on user engagement data
  • Third-Party Integration: Manage and support third-party integrations such as listings management, form platforms, and email marketing tools
  • Feature Implementation: Collaborate with the product manager and development team to deliver web development tasks and implement new features
  • Task Tracking & Issue Resolution: Utilize tools like Trello, Jira, and Zendesk for efficient task management and issue resolution

Education

Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent combination of formal education and experience)

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience as a digital producer manager or similar digital role.
  • Experience developing and managing complex websites.
  • Agency work experience.
  • Experience working in healthcare a plus.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Understanding of web technologies, CMS platforms (Drupal, Wordpress), and basic coding languages (strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and other relevant technologies.
  • Ability to interpret data and analytics to drive decision-making
  • Experience thriving in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environments with a keen eye for quality assurance.
  • Proficient in utilizing ticketing systems for managing and resolving content-related issues.
  • Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capable of working independently, juggling multiple projects, and meeting deadlines.
  • A proactive and self-motivated individual with a strong passion for delivering high-quality web experiences and content management.
