Schedule: Per Diem

Position Summary:

Performs nursing care to cardiac catheterization patients undergoing procedures. Works alongside technologists and physicians but can work independently when required. Communicates effectively with patients, technical staff, ancillary staff, and professional staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Assumes responsibility for delivery of patient care while the patient is in the Cardiac Catheterization Suite.
  • Implements the patients plan of care and evaluates outcomes of nursing intervention.
  • Participates and is accountable for the efficient operation of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab's nursing services as well as professional and personal growth.

Requirements: 

  • Education: Required Nursing Diploma, ASN, BSN or MSN (preferred); Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of critical care nursing experience required, 1 year of cardiac catheterization lab experience preferred
  • Certification/Licensure: Current RN MA license, BLS, and ACLS required
