POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of and guidance from the Manager of Revenue Operations & Business Intelligence, the Financial Analyst II - Reimbursement is responsible for assisting the department management in identifying, establishing, implementing and monitoring business and financial related processes that contribute to the successful operations of BMC.
This role will identify areas for reimbursement and revenue cycle improvement through analysis of various data streams with the goal of improved reimbursement from government and commercial payers, denials. This role will also ensure compliance with payer requirements, support revenue cycle operations, collaborate with all service lines across BMC – medical records, revenue integrity, coding/compliance, hospital and professional departments, and modify and maintain policies and procedures as needed.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
At least a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Accounting/Finance or a related field; and at least 2 years of prior experience in at least one of the following:
Advanced experience in MS Excel, Access and Power BI.
