Position Overview
The Emergency Management Program Manager is responsible for the administration, operations, and development of emergency management programs across the Boston Medical Center Health System (BMCHS). This role requires an experienced professional with broad expertise in emergency management, public health, and hospital administration, ensuring regulatory compliance, disaster preparedness, response coordination, and continuity of operations.
Reporting to the Director of Emergency Management and indirectly to the Medical Director of Emergency Management, the Program Manager collaborates with clinical and non-clinical leadership across BMCHS’ ambulatory and operational sectors to implement emergency preparedness strategies and maintain enterprise-wide resilience. The Program Manager will also lead interdisciplinary teams, implement policies and tactical procedures, and coordinate with external agencies to enhance BMCHS’ emergency response capabilities.
