Position: Clinical Research Coordinator II

POSITION SUMMARY:
The CRC II will be responsible for day-to-day coordination and supporting overall management of activities related to Dr. Wurcel’s research portfolio.This includes grants and other administrative projects focused on improving health care delivery and advancing public health, with particular emphasis on infectious disease prevention (e.g., HIV prevention and increasing PrEP uptake) and substance use. Projects will span a variety of settings, including carceral, hospital, and community-based environments, and will involve supporting research activities, project coordination, and other administrative needs across these initiatives.
Functions include the training and supervision of research staff, managing research databases for regular reporting on enrollment and study progress, serving as study liaison with the IRB, and supporting financial management for the project, including purchasing needed supplies and equipment. Support data collection and recruitment activities, grant preparation, quality control, preparation of research reports and presentations, and more. Must be able to work independently and make sound judgment with study protocols, data evaluation, and recruitment strategies.
This will start as a part-time role that moves to full time in April 2027. The role is based in Boston with potential for some occasional travel. This role will be considered hybrid with required in-office time at BMC.

Compensation Range:
$20.43- $28.61This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, skills, and certifications/licensures as they directly relate to position requirements; as well as business/organizational needs, internal equity, and market-competitiveness.
