Job Summary:
The Chief of Staff (CoS) to the President of WellSense serves as the principal advisor to the President, on the optimization of the plan’s strategic vision, organizational performance, and operational efficiencies. The role functions as a central coordination point for complex initiatives that advance organizational priorities, ensuring alignment across departments and effective execution of key initiatives. The Chief of Staff is responsible for developing processes, structures, and high-level communications to align the internal and external stakeholders against WellSense’s vision, goals, and objectives. This position is responsible for engaging key stakeholders, developing, and synthesizing critical analyses, supporting decision-making, and driving the implementation of approved changes. The Chief of Staff is a trusted proxy and confidant to bridge communication channels and resolve complex challenges. The Chief of Staff works closely with the President and other senior leaders on a day-to-day basis, operating with a high degree of autonomy under general direction and exercising influence across the organization to further the organization's strategic goals.
Key Functions/Responsibilities:
Advise the President as to the prioritization of projects, initiatives, meetings, and strategic focus with the ability to discern urgency and effectively triaging opportunities with the relevant subject matter experts.
Demonstrate and understand the “voice” of the President and create communications for the President for use in written publication, speaking engagements, meetings, and other arenas.
Lead the overall strategic planning and goal-setting processes for WellSense’s long-term strategy.
Lead the development of an overall organizational strategy by working closely with President, and the Executive Team to develop and execute a 3–5-year vision.
Independently lead and manage multiple high priority projects simultaneously and prioritize meeting key deadlines Support the development of plans for turnaround and improvement where needed, creating accountability structures to ensure stakeholders manage toward successful implementation.
Qualifications:
Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent combination of training and experience
Education Preferred:
MBA, or Masters in a related field
Experience Required:
10+ years of related strategic management, business management, and/or leadership experience.
Posting range: 188,000 – 272,500 annually
