Under general supervision of the Executive Director Talent Acquisition, the Sr. Physician Recruiter/Talent Partner is responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract, recruit, and retain highly qualified physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) to meet the staffing needs of the organization. This role partners closely with clinical leadership, department chairs, and HR teams to identify workforce needs, create effective recruitment campaigns, and ensure a positive candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as a strategic advisor to executive and clinical leadership, leading workforce planning and forecasting for physician and APP recruitment needs.
• Own end-to-end recruitment strategy and outcomes across assigned service lines, including hard-to-fill and leadership roles.
• Design and execute data-driven sourcing and marketing strategies informed by labor market analysis and competitive intelligence.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment for physicians, physician leaders, and APPs, including offer strategy and complex negotiations.
• Analyze recruitment metrics to drive continuous improvement and present actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Build and sustain long-term talent pipelines through partnerships with residency/fellowship programs, medical societies, and external stakeholders.
• Represent the organization at conferences and industry events to strengthen employer brand and market presence.
• Mentor and guide recruiters and hiring leaders on best practices, process improvements, and market trends.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field and a minimum of 5-8 years of recruitment experience, preferably in healthcare or physician recruitment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven track record of sourcing and placing physicians and/or advanced practice providers.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools.
  • Knowledge of physician compensation models, contracts, and credentialing processes preferred.

Compensation Range:

$97,500.00- $141,500.00

This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, skills, and certifications/licensures as they directly relate to position requirements; as well as business/organizational needs, internal equity, and market-competitiveness.
