Senior Director, Cancer Care Services
Job location: Boston, MA
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Director Cancer Care Services provides leadership for clinical, administrative, operational, business development, and physician relationship activities in support of assigned service lines, business partnerships, and ancillary services. The Senior Director works within Cancer Care Services to assure the effective integration of strategy and operations achieving the defined key performance indicators. The Director works closely with physicians, managers and other service providers to translate the hospital’s mission and goals into specific practice goals and objectives and to enhance service delivery to patients in the continuum of care. The Senior Director will lead program development, growth, and expansion within the Cancer Service Line to benefit our patients and the organization. The Senior Director will work with other services such as pharmacy, labs, and ancillary groups across inpatient and outpatient settings. The Senior Director will possess extensive operational leadership experience within complex and matrixed healthcare environments, a proven track record in improving the patient experience, strategic leadership background with diverse workforces, experience and success as an executive change agent, and accomplishments in developing and implementing a vision for strategic service line operations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Public Health or other related degree required. Master’s Degree (or matriculation in a Master’s program) preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
At least seven years of progressive administrative and management experience in a hospital setting required. Experience and knowledge leading cancer specialty services is strongly desired.
