Position: Senior Administrative Coordinator

Location: Ob/Gyn

Schedule: Per Diem

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Administrative Coordinator serves as the key support for the department of OBGYN, including, but not limited to: drafting correspondence, managing organizational contracts, coordinating the schedule of providers, collecting and disseminating quality and operational data, scheduling meetings, following up on meeting-generated tasks, preparing documents, reports and presentation slides, processes travel reimbursements. Works autonomously, sets priorities and makes independent decisions of a complex nature. Supports quality improvement initiatives across the department of OBGYN.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelors Degree in related field is required or a combination of additional experience and training will be considered

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in a health-care setting preferred.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Requires strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications—Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint; E-mail. Web/Internet. Ability and willingness to become proficient with EPIC and other applications.

  • Excellent verbal and written skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Self-motivated; excellent problem-solving skills; takes initiative to anticipates problems; seeks solutions proactively.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients.
