Position: Registered Nurse, EP Lab
Location: St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Brighton, MA 
Schedule: 36 Hours, Days, Every 3rd Weekend 
  
POSITION SUMMARY: 
As an RN in the EP Lab, you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional care. Using our patient-centered care model you will be uplifted by a supportive nursing organization, and will be able to deliver the excellent care to your patients that they deserve. 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Deliver nursing care in the EP Lab, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients 
  • Communicate with various health care team members, patients, and their families 
  • Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues 
  • Update and manage patient records 
  • Enter and interpret computerized data/information 
  • Follow guidelines and policies established by BMC’s nursing organization 
  • Assist the leadership team as needed in  quality improvement projects 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. 
  • At least 6 years ICU experience required. 
  • Previous Med-Surge/EP Lab experience preferred. 
  • Certification in basic life support (BLS) required. 
  • Advanced Cardiac Life support (ACLS) certification required
  • Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred), Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years
  • Relevant clinical experience and/or specialty, certification required for certain practice areas 
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills 
  • Physical ability to meet job responsibilities 
  • Basic computer proficiency 
  • Fluency in another language a plus
