POSITION SUMMARY:

The Onboarding Analyst oversees the onboarding process for all contingent workers to ensure accurate and timely completion of all applicable paperwork, background checks, occupational health requirements, and entry into HR systems. They are also responsible for quarterly and monthly audit programs to ensure employee records are accurate.  

Working cross-functionally this individual will participate in the assessment and evaluation of current onboarding practices, the redesign and implementation of new processes and the continuous improvement of projects across the various HR functions.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

  • Communicate with managers, contingent workers, Occupational Health and others across the organization to hire and onboard new contingent workers.
  • Obtain background check release forms, run CORI reports, and communicate with managers regarding the status. 
  • Enter new employees into HR Systems in a timely manner.
  • Create process improvements and standardize onboarding process and requirements.
  • Manage a robust tracker/dashboard to handle onboarding process.
  • Follow up on any outstanding paperwork to ensure complete personnel record keeping.
  • Complete audits of required compliance, identify gaps and implement recommended improvements.
  • All other HR projects and duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

Required: BS/BA

EXPERIENCE:

At least two years’ experience in a high-volume operations role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: 

  • Must have strong organizational skills.
  • Must have strong business acumen and be able to work cross-functionally with different levels within an organization.
  • Must have demonstrable strong ownership and accountability skills to accomplish deliverables within required timelines.
  • Must be able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Must be willing and able to work independently.
  • Project management skills required.
  • Must have strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Must be able to demonstrate ability to prioritize and function in a fast-paced high-volume environment.
  • Workday experience a plus.
