Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, Epilepsy, Department of Neurology,
Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (BU-CASM)
The Nurse Practitioner (NP)/Physician Assistant (PA-C) will partner with and perform clinical duties under the general supervision of the Division Chief of Epilepsy. The candidate will be responsible for providing outpatient clinical care and some inpatient care in support of epilepsy patients and those with seizure-related disorders.
The Department of Neurology at Boston Medical Center is a full-service clinical and academic program that provides advanced treatment for patients with a broad spectrum of diseases and disorders of the brain, nervous system, peripheral nerves, spinal cord, and related muscle and blood vessels. Our team includes highly experienced physicians and nurse practitioners who subspecialize in all major areas of neurology. We have multidisciplinary programs in neuro-critical care, neuro-oncology, infectious disease, and cerebrovascular disease that provide our patients with a broad spectrum of treatment options. Schedule: This role will be structured as a 4-day per week, 10-hr per day position, although alternate arrangements for a full-time role could be considered. Responsibilities will include both shared clinics with neurology physicians and clinics and inpatient care where the candidate will function as an independent practitioner.
