Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (BUCASM), Section of Internal Medicine at Boston Medical Center (BMC) is hiring Nurse Practitioners (NP’s) to join our growing team. Our values and mission continue to drive our stronghold of excellence in patient care, education, and research. NPs to provide primary care, focused on sick visits and urgent care needs.
Nurse Practitioners are members of the faculty at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (BUCASM).
Location: In-person/ Onsite Boston
Overview: This is an exciting time to join the Adult Primary Care Practice of the Department of Medicine at Boston Medical Center as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) and be a key member of a team-based, NCQA-certified patient centered medical home. As part of an ACO, we aim to improve patients’ access to primary care for sick visits with additional daytime capacity and extended hours outside of regular business hours. Job responsibilities include diagnosis and management of acute illness, chronic disease management, and collaboration with resident physician colleagues. Performs routine and sick visit examinations, orders, interprets and evaluates diagnostic tests and examinations. We offer competitive salary, excellent benefits and faculty appointments at BUSM. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with resident physicians who are primary care providers in their 3-year internal residency training program. In addition to collaborating on patient care, the nurse practitioner in this role will participate in ongoing medical education together with the residents and their preceptors in pre-clinic conference.

Schedule:
Full-time during regular business hours with 6 face-to-face clinic sessions/week
2 admin sessions for collaboration with resident physicians
2 admin sessions for follow up of direct patient care
