The Department of Neurology at Boston Medical Center Brighton, a member of the Boston Medical Center Health System, is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Neurologist to join our growing clinical team. This is an exciting opportunity to practice comprehensive neurology in a collegial, community-focused hospital setting with strong subspecialty support and academic collaboration.
The ideal candidate will be committed to high-quality, patient-centered care and interested in helping to expand and shape neurology services in a dynamic and evolving clinical environment.
Full-time, employed position
Outpatient-focused general neurology practice with inpatient consult coverage
Shared call responsibilities
Opportunity to develop clinical niche interests (e.g., headache, epilepsy, neuromuscular, cognitive disorders, MS)
Collaborative care model with primary care, hospitalists, and subspecialists
Access to advanced diagnostic services including EEG, EMG/NCS, neuroimaging, and infusion services
Academic appointment available commensurate with experience
Evaluate and manage a broad range of neurological conditions including:
Headache and migraine disorders
Epilepsy and seizure disorders
Neuromuscular disease
Movement disorders
Multiple sclerosis and demyelinating conditions
Cognitive and memory disorders
Peripheral neuropathy
Provide inpatient neurology consults
Participate in call rotation
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
Participate in quality improvement and program development initiatives
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts
Strong clinical skills and commitment to compassionate, equitable care
Interest in building and expanding neurology services within a community hospital setting

Compensation range: $274,303- $325,000
The base salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to clinical FTE, qualifications, experience, education, board certifications, specialty, training, and scope of practice. The above hiring range represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Any eligible incentive compensation is not included in the above compensation range and will be discussed during the interview process.
