The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Boston Medical Center – Brighton, a member of the Boston Medical Center Health System, is seeking a full- time fellowship-trained Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist to join the Maternal Fetal Medicine division. Clinical responsibilities include obstetrical ultrasound, prenatal diagnosis, perinatal consultation, antepartum management, office practice, and optional management of the labor floor. The position will be primarily based at Boston Medical Center – Brighton as well as providing MFM services to Boston Medical Center – South in Brockton, MA.
Boston Medical Center – Brighton is in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston, near some of Boston’s major universities. The hospital serves a diverse patient population from the Boston area and beyond. Boston Medical Center – Brighton is a tertiary care hospital and is a teaching hospital of Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine and Tufts University School of Medicine. This position features a medical school Faculty appointment commensurate with background and experience. The St. Margaret’s Center for Women and Infants at Boston Medical Center – Brighton offers an intimate, personalized patient care experience with expert doctors, physician assistants, nurse midwives, and nurses.
Growing busy practice with Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians and a Nurse Practitioner across the system with obstetrical services encompassing about 3000 newborns annually.
Level 4 maternity rating and Level 3 NICU with full-time on-site neonatology
BMC - Brighton serves as a teaching site for medical students and PA students from Boston University and Tufts University.
Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to collegial and evidence-based practice and patient care as well as medical student education.
Other subspecialties: including gynecologic oncology, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery specialists are part of our department.

Requirements include:
Applicants must possess an MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school and have or be eligible to obtain a Massachusetts Medical License
Must be board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology and must have completed a Fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
Must exhibit a passion for clinical excellence and innovation and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
