POSITION SUMMARY:
The mobility program manager is a dedicated and experienced individual with both clinical and project management experience. The Mobility Manager plays a crucial role in enhancing patient care and contributing to hospital goals by managing the operations of the JH-AMP (Johns-Hopkins Activity and Mobility Promotion) program across hospital units, overseeing the development, program design, and management of added mobility resources, collaborates with nursing and therapy teams, and ensures that all hospital units are structured in a sustainable way to foster a culture of mobility by reaching the patient goals. This individual is responsible for organizing Mobility committee agenda, coordinating mobility advocate training schedule, co-chairing the Mobility Council, and providing regular reporting to stakeholders on mobility program outcomes and performance and ensuring alignment with the 8-step implementation framework of the Johns Hopkins Activity and Mobility Promotion program (JH-AMP).

JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or nursing.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
Master’s degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing. Healthcare Administration and/or Project/Program Management experience is a plus.
Massachusetts Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or nursing license required, American Heart Association BLS.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on direct patient care, patient mobility, nursing or rehabilitation.
