POSITION SUMMARY:
As a member of the Controlling team, the Manager, Accounting Operations is be responsible for key accounting processes, month-end close, efficiency of operations and continuous improvement. This is a leadership position in the Accounting department. This role manages a team of Staff and Senior Accountants responsible for day-to-day hospital accounting, system integration accuracy, and end to end financial reporting. This position addresses tight deadlines, a multitude of accounting activities as well as support for budget and forecast activities. Contributes Accounting knowledge, resources and expertise in various projects, workgroups and teams within and outside of the Controlling team. Responsible for maintaining and updating established policies and procedures to ensure integrity of the general ledger and financial statements according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
BA/BS in Accounting or related-degree required. A Master’s degree or a CPA is preferred. Healthcare experience and knowledge of Epic EHR preferred
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
As stated above.
EXPERIENCE:
5 – 10 or more years of managerial experience in an accounting environment, including a non-profit organization with 1 – 2 years in a supervisory role. Healthcare experience preferred
