POSITION SUMMARY:
As the Events Manager you will play a pivotal role in creating and executing events and initiatives aimed at fostering a positive and inclusive workplace environment. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to design, implement, and evaluate events that align with our employee experience goals and enhance employee engagement and inclusion. Events and programs include Recognition Days/Months (i.e. Black History Month, Employee Appreciation Day), PRIDE, Annual Red Sox Opening Day Celebration, Leadership Forums, Orientation and Training events, and all other recognition activities as directed by the Executive Director of Organizational, Development, and Effectiveness. Operations responsibilities include volunteer recruitment, data management, communications development, fiscal administration. Acting as project manager for the event while developing and maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external contacts at all levels. Proven experience (5 years) in event planning or relevant experiences. Prefer a focus on employee engagement, teambuilding, DEI, or leadership type events.
