Schedule: 40 Hours, Days/Evenings, 8am-4:30pm, On-Call Required (Eves/Nights, Weekends, Holidays), Full-Time, Benefit Eligible

Position Summary:

The Endoscopy Technician acts as the primary assistant at the field, assisting the Endoscopist performing the endoscopy procedure on patients of all ages.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides care that addresses the specific needs of age groups from infant to elderly.
  • Customizes to a variety of needs specific to impairments, such as hearing, sight, substance abuse, non-English speaking, and potential victims of abuse.
  • Incorporates knowledge and understanding of our commitment to patient rights, our value statement, mission statement, code of ethics, and patient responsibilities into the performance of job responsibilities.
  • On-call required

Requirements: 

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Certification/Licensure: CPR
  • Must have working knowledge with scopes in the upper and lower GI tact and experience working with GI Physician.
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills and the ability to perform as a part of a multi-disciplinary team, instilling a positive cohesive spirit to ensure customer satisfaction.
