POSITION SUMMARY:
Working as a member of the Major Gifts and Individual Giving team, the Director of Planned Giving will be responsible for overseeing all functions of BMC's planned giving program, including, but not limited to: managing a portfolio of planned giving prospects, developing education and engagement strategies for BMC's donor population to consider a planned gift(s), and partnering with Development Communications & Annual Fund teams on mass communication and solicitation pieces as it relates to planned giving. S/he will contribute to the team’s fundraising goals by securing planned and blended gifts as well as providing high-quality support to other frontline staff who need assistance with planned giving opportunities and partnering with them to secure planned gifts from their assigned donors.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and development work experience required.

EXPERIENCE:
At least 7 years relevant experience
