Boston University Aram V. Chobanian and Edward Avedisian School of Medicine
The Section of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Boston University Aram V. Chobanian and Edward Avedisian School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center is seeking a clinical investigator with expertise and training in neuro-oncology. The neuro-oncologist will join a rapidly expanding cancer program at Boston Medical Center, a 514-bed academic teaching hospital that serves a highly diverse patient population from the city of Boston and throughout New England. Based within the Section of Hematology and Medical Oncology, the neuro-oncologist will collaborate closely with physicians and staff in the Departments of Neurosurgery, Neurology, and Radiation Oncology to provide multi-disciplinary care for patients with primary and metastatic CNS malignancies. The neuro-oncologist will have opportunities to expand and lead the neuro-oncology clinical trials program and to collaborate closely with laboratory-based investigators on translational research studies.
A full time advanced practice provider will support the position. Faculty appointment will be commensurate with experience and academic accomplishments
Requirements: The successful applicant will have either an MD or DO and will have completed a neuro-oncology fellowship training program. Board certification in either medical oncology or neurology is required.
