POSITION SUMMARY:

Cleans and maintains sanitary conditions in all Dietary areas.  Assists in the preparation service and storage of food.  May assist in catering.

Position: Dietary Aide

Department: Food and Nutritional Services

Schedule: Full Time, 40Hrs Rotating (D/E/N)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Related experience preferred but not required.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Work requires demonstrated competence to effectively speak, read and write English.

  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

  • Must show courtesy and respect towards customers, patients and general public and work harmoniously with a variety of people.

  • Knowledge of safe handling procedures, including hand washing hygiene

  • Reasonable speed in performance of duties is required to ensure a positive dining experience for the customers.

Compensation Range:

$18.58- $22.20

This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, and licensure/certifications directly related to position requirements.
