Maintain safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Responsible for smooth and orderly function of Vascular Lab
Maintains monthly statistics for Lab.
Maintains all equipment and repair files; arranges and supervises all necessary repairs.
Assists in interviewing process of staff
Responsible for seeing that educational requirements for staff are met by remaining current in field, attending National meetings, Grand Rounds, etc.
Assists in purchase process for new equipment.
Arranges for proper coverage of Lab during vacations, sick time, etc.
Responsible for proper processing of billing data, files, and records.
Is responsible for scheduling and disposition of Vascular Lab requests.
Communicates with different areas of Cardiology Department, other hospital departments, and Vascular Lab to facilitate delivery of service.

Compliance and Compilation of Studies, lab data, and attending physician date
IAC Accreditation and Re-Accreditation Process
Orders all supplies necessary for Vascular Lab.
Orders and maintains Pharmacy supplies for Vascular Lab
Requirements for Chief:
Graduate of an accredited US Ultrasound program.
Registered Vascular Technologist.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in vascular lab required.
BLS certification
