POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the site Hospital President, The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) is the senior leader responsible for the overall strategic and operational leadership of nursing services at the hospital. The CNO ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while advancing clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. This role provides vision and direction for nursing practice, workforce planning, professional development, and patient experience.
The CNO partners closely with the site senior leadership team, medical staff, and department leaders to achieve hospital goals, foster a culture of collaboration and accountability, and drive performance outcomes. The CNO also serves as a key advocate for nursing staff, representing their voice in organizational decision-making while supporting the hospital’s mission, values, and commitment to the community.
