POSITION SUMMARY:
The Adolescent OB Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician/ Program Coordinator is an important dual role that provides clinical social work support to clients as well as administrative operations to maintain and grow the program. This role involves working closely with healthcare professionals within the Obstetrics and Gynecology department to address the unique social and emotional needs of pregnant and postpartum parents under 25 years old, ensuring their well-being, and promoting positive outcomes for both the adolescent parent and the unborn child. Clinical responsibilities for services include, but are not limited to, conducting psychosocial assessments, individual therapy, crisis interventions, leading groups, formulating psychosocial diagnoses and treatment plans, and implementing effective, evidence-based treatments for patients and family members.
This dual role also involves coordinating and/or participating in the following programming initiatives: Adolescent Pregnant and Young Parent Advisory Board, Postpartum Support Groups, Breastfeeding Support Groups, attending monthly MDPH conference calls, submitting monthly programmatic data and quarterly and annual reports to MDPH, and coordinate multi-disciplinary program team meetings monthly. The Program Coordinator will also be responsible for helping the Midwifery Administrative Coordinator manage the budget and grant requirements of the program.
The role is hybrid.

EDUCATION:
Requires Master’s Degree from an accredited school of Social Work or school of Mental Health Counseling or related field as determined by the Board of Registration of Allied Mental Health and Human Services Professions
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
Requires a current Massachusetts Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in Integrated Behavioral Health or Medical Setting preferred. Requires level of knowledge of Social Work process and community resources and agencies in relation to health, illness, and disability, and social determinants of health.
Experience as research assistant or program coordinator preferred, but not necessary.
